Building on Okayama University’s strengths in medicine and healthcare, this Institute integrates its established expertise in clinical research, radiopharmaceutical science, and transplantation and regenerative medicine to drive the development of next-generation medical technologies. Centered on three research cores, radiopharmaceutical-based theranostics, translational animal model research, and stem cell and organoid research, the Institute promotes the realization of precision medicine that seamlessly integrates diagnosis and treatment. Leveraging strong clinical collaboration with the University Hospital, it accelerates the translation of research outcomes into real-world applications, while fostering new value creation through partnerships with industry and startups. In addition, the Institute is committed to nurturing early-career researchers and aims to establish a globally impactful research hub that contributes to advancing medicine and addressing societal challenges.
